How it works
Three steps, start to published.
Entry and publishing both happen in real time while the competition is running.
1
Enter points, placings or awards
Adjudicators enter points, placings or an award category into the system securely during the competition, and record their comments as they go. Placings and aggregates calculate automatically when points are used.
2
Review and submit
Supervisors review the calculated results, add penalty points where the rules require them, recalculate if anything needs changing, and submit. Nothing is visible to the public at this stage.
3
Publish instantly
Results go live immediately when they are published, and are sortable and searchable by the public from any device.
Step one
Results go in once, however they’re scored
Entry happens in the system rather than on a sheet, so nothing is written down twice. Depending on how the section is judged, adjudicators enter points, placings, or an award category like gold, silver or bronze, and record their comments alongside it.
1
Add comments on a laptop, tablet or phone.
2
Enter the result: points (placings and aggregates calculate automatically), placings only, or an award category.
3
Save, with everything editable until the supervisor saves the event.
Points entry during the competition.
Step two
Reviewed before it is released.
The review screen shows the calculated results for the event. A supervisor checks them, adds any penalty points, recalculates if a score has changed, and saves.
1
Check the calculated placings and aggregates.
2
Add penalty points and recalculate.
3
Save, which locks the points and comments for that event.
Review, recalculate and submit controls.
Step three
Published, and open to everyone.
Publishing is the organiser’s call. Once it happens the results are live straight away, and there is nothing for anyone to download to read them.
1
Results appear on the public page as soon as they are published.
2
Supporters sort and search to find a specific event or entry.
3
Every published result has an official link that can be sent on or posted.
Published results, live while the competition runs.
Walk through it with us.
A demo runs the three steps end to end using the way your competition is scored.
What it handles
The scoring a competition actually uses.
Solos, duets, small and large ensembles
Different entry types in the same competition, scored and published together.
Grades, categories and age groups
Set up per competition and kept separate in the results.
Awards, placings and aggregate scoring
Aggregates are calculated across items, with awards and placings recorded alongside them.
Ties and penalty points
Ties and penalty points are handled by the system, and adjudicator points are recorded and calculated correctly.
Points, placings only or award categories
A result can be calculated from points, entered as placings the adjudicator has already decided, or set as an award category such as gold, silver or bronze.
